Italy's 2nd largest carrier AirOne on 26FEB08 applies for permission to operate service to the US. It is currently in the process of awaiting for a foreign carrier permit to operate the service.
AirOne plans to start 5 weekly Milan - Boston service from 14JUN08 as well as 6 weekly Milan - Chicago service from 21JUN08. Under previous notice filed by the Italian carrier, it does not plan to operate the Trans-Atlantic flight as codeshare service with UNITED, nor US Airways at this point.
However, AirOne will codeshare with UNITED and US Airways in the US domestic routes.
From Boston, AirOne will display its "AP" code on US Airways service to:
Washington DC
Philadelphia
Phoenix
From Chicago, AirOne will display its "AP" code on UNITED service to:
Denver
Los Angeles
Seattle
