The 5th UAE-based carrier, Kang Pacific Airways, is currently in negotiation to operate service to Japan. The Fujairah-based airline was established in 2006, and is expected to receive operating licence from the UAE soon.
The airline is to launch operation in March 2008, flying to Colombo, Dhaka, Clark/Manila and Kochi in India.

It also plans to fly to Karachi, Mumbai, Kathmandu, Bahrain, Kuwait, East Midlands, Amritsar.
It is negotiating for rights to Tokyo Narita, but Osaka also on the list, the routing is likely to be via Mumbai and Manila, offering fares between a low-cost and full-service carrier.

Clark/Manila should be CRK since MNL is for Manila-NAIA.
Planning and replanning going on since last year.Nothing seems working and they keep on changing (possible)destinations.
Emirates Today reported yesterday that businessman Paul Kang announced plans to operate a low-cost carrier Kang Pacific Airlines from Fujairah International Airport and is expected to launch in November, but it does not have a licence from the government yet. Are these guys competing with their neighbours across the mountains on... who does it and when?
I hope their flight deck crew have a better grasp of English than the person who did their web site

I just want to know whether anyone knows what happened to KANG PACIFIC AIRLINES lately?
From what i know, the company is in SHIT now...because of the General Manager, Abbas, a pakistani UK citizen had swindled the money from Paul Kang, the owner of KANG PACIFIC AIRLINES...
I just wonder why the media in Fujairah and UAE did not pick up the story? And from what i know, the owner, Paul Kang was jailed for 30 minutes on 24/8/2008 due to some problems with his ticketing staff. Paul Kang wanted to get back his money from this Philippine ticketing staff since she made a deal with this Abbas to steal all the money and move out of Fujairah. So Paul Kang managed to know about this scam and he took the girl from the Philippines to the police for interrogations. However, that woman in return accused Paul Kang for not paying her the salary. Stupid, isn't it?
Anyway, when the police checked, they found out that Paul Kang had employed the woman illegally and did not pay her salary. So Paul was put behind bars...interesting eh??? For 30 minutes...poor guy!!!
However, the Syeikh of Fujairah called Paul and they released him on that day. Anyway, it seems that Paul Kang's passport was taken by the Court and he has to put up 50,000 Dirham for security.
Isn't it weird that an airline which is not even a year old facing this type of problems? To have an airline company is not easy and it happens as if this is a playground of sorts.
From what I heard, KANG PACIFIC AIRLINES will be SOLD!!! Who wants to buy??? Hmmm....Paul Kang is now in big MESS!!!
