Lufthansa announce 2007/08 Winter program

Lufthansa announced the 2007/08 Winter program offerings.


Lufthansa will be offering service to 188 destinations in 79 countries, comprising 3 new destinations: Orlando, Karachi and Lahore.

Overall capacity will increase by 5.7% compared to 2006/07 Winter. Available capacity is up 4% in Europe and 6.5% on Inter-continental route. There will be 13272 weekly flights, compared to 12908 in 2006/07, increase of 2.9%. This comprises 12208 on Domestic Germany and Europe service, plus 1064 long-haul flights.

North America
*New 5 weekly Frankfurt - Orlando
*6 weekly addition on Frankfurt - Newark, operated by PrivatAir
*Daily Munich - Newark on A340 replace 6 weekly all-Business PrivatAir service
*416 weekly flights to 19 cities in North America

South America
*Resumption of nonstop link to Buenos Aires, 5 weekly

Asia
*NEW direct service to Pakistan: Karachi and Lahore, 3 weekly

Europe
*NEW 6 weekly Frankfurt - Wroclaw service
*Launched on 01SEP07, Munich - Sibiu is maintained
*NEW 3 Daily Frankfurt - Bordeaux
*NEW 2 daily Berlin - London City service from 14JAN08
